ASO Spring Concert to be Rescheduled

Off

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Board of the Alliance Symphony Orchestra has made the difficult decision to cancel our April 26 Spring concert. We are especially disappointed that our two soloists, Jenna Hoffman and Molly Muckleroy, and our graduating seniors will be unable to perform. Upcoming performances by our Big Band are also on hold.

Our music director Eric Benjamin hopes to present the same program, including Jenna and Molly’s solos, at our Fall concert on October 11. In April, the board will be meeting by video conference for the first time to make plans for the summer and fall.

In this time of isolation, the arts are more important than ever. We intend to increase our activity on social media, to share with you music and our thoughts about music. We are on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

We wish you all the best and hope to see you in the fall.
